Photographed in Cambodia, this series was done for an international non-governmental organisation, AFECIP, working to rescue and reintegrate underage women who are victims of sex trafficking. The growing scope of this tragedy often overshadows the individual stories of determination, self-confidence and transcendence of these young women, and the passion that drives those who make dangerous trips into red light districts and face death threats to help them.
